Epidemiological
Profiles of Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Diseases in the World
Welcome to the Global
Cardiovascular Infobase. Our mission is to help prevent the epidemic of
cardiovascular diseases in the developing world by providing current and
reliable information. Relevant data on demographics, mortality, morbidity,
risk factors, and related health care are linked to country maps and can be
displayed in a variety of ways. Infobase should be useful to epidemiologists,
policy makers, researchers and others involved in disease control and
prevention. This project is a collaborative effort headed by the World Health
Organization Collaborating Centre, supported by the
Surveillance Division,
Centre for Chronic Disease Prevention and Control, Public Health Agency of
Canada and located
at
The Ottawa Hospital - General Campus of the
University of Ottawa.
